Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit within a certified stroke center. The role involves managing a diverse patient population with various diagnoses and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control policies, and compliance requirements.
• Float to sister units as needed, maintaining flexibility in coverage across departments.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY state RN license in hand required for submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in EPIC charting and documentation.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, infectious, and post-operative diagnoses.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
