Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced LVN / LPN to provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have current licensure, relevant clinical experience, and the ability to work effectively within a team nursing model.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Operate and interpret equipment such as ventilators, IV drips, and telemetry devices.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including ventilator and cardiac events.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including fitting for N95s and other PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current active state RN or compact license required.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vent management and EPIC electronic health record system.
• Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to assignment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, with ability to read and interpret strips.
• Previous float experience and travel nursing preferred.
