Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and care activities.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and provide wound care as needed.
• Communicate patient status and changes effectively to RNs and physicians.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active New York Single State LPN license; NY is not a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Proficient in vital signs, medication administration, and basic wound care.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Ability to work night shifts and float within skillset.
