Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and changes in condition.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and assist with invasive procedures.
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs as directed.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York Single State LPN license required; no pending licenses accepted.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Ability to perform clinical skills such as EKG, IV therapy, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.
• Comfortable with floating within skill set and adaptable to different hospital units.
