Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients by assessing, treating, and monitoring respiratory conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure proper function.
• Document patient interventions and progress accurately in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols to maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential and BLS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Hold a current state license or be eligible with a pending license, with licensing obtained prior to start.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain familiarity with respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
