Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in a level 4 NICU setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered services during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions for neonatal patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and clinical protocols.
• Participate in self-scheduling processes and team meetings to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Valid VA license; active license or temporary permit in another state accepted if obtained prior to start.
• Level 4 NICU experience required; Cardiac PICU experience preferred.
• Current RRT certification, BLS, and NRP required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in neonatal respiratory care and ventilator management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours).
