Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of patient care. This role requires adapting to various shift rotations and collaborating with healthcare teams to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer ongoing patient assessments to ensure timely interventions.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond promptly to abnormalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and outcomes.
• Comply with facility policies, including certifications and travel requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including medication administration and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Document a minimum of 18 months of recent, full-time experience in a Stepdown or IMC/PCU setting, preferably within one location.
• Possess active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be willing to work scheduled 3x12 shifts, including holidays, with some flexibility for rotating shifts.
• Complete background check, drug screening, and BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance within the required timeframe.
