Job Summary:


Provide specialized intensive care nursing to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. Deliver high-quality patient care consistent with clinical standards and protocols.



Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status continuously.
  
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
• Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic systems.
  
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, stabilizing patients as needed.
  
• Educate patients and their families about their condition and care procedures.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license and meet state licensure requirements.
  
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU or Medical Surgical ICU experience.
  
• Have current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
• Preferred certifications include CCRN and NIHSS.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU patient care, including use of electronic medical records such as Cerner.
  
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 13-week assignment.
