Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess maternal and fetal health status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as prescribed.
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy to support patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and respond to complications promptly.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and healthcare protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York State RN License with primary source verification.
• Possess a minimum of two years maternal and child health experience.
• Demonstrate at least two years of IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
• Have two years of conscious sedation experience.
• Certified in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NRP.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) from an accredited program.
