Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, patient-centered support throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess obstetric patients' conditions and monitor fetal wellbeing throughout labor.
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as prescribed.
• Insert IVs and perform phlebotomy procedures accurately to support patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN License and verification from NYS Department of Education.
• Possess a minimum of two years of Maternal and Child health experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Hold current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP certification preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
