Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment. This role involves monitoring patient status, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow policies for infection control, safety, and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the specialty.
• Have certified active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Be willing to work every other holiday.
• Provide a reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
