Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs a range of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality patient care and image accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and other imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Assess patient condition and position patients properly for imaging procedures.
• Transfer and archive images using PACS and teleradiology systems accurately.
• Maintain equipment calibration, perform routine maintenance, and manage supply inventory.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations when handling medical data.
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and support billing processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess Advanced Certification in computed tomography (CT), preferred in CA and OR.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per hospital policy.
• Have current state-specific fluoroscopy license, preferred in CA and OR.
• Hold venipuncture certification, preferred in CA and OR.
