Job Details

Job Summary:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT and other imaging equipment to capture accurate images.
• Assess patient condition and prepare them for imaging procedures, including IV insertion when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to interpret and ensure quality of images.
• Maintain accurate records, manage supply inventory, and perform routine equipment calibration.
• Document procedures and ensure proper transfer of images using PACS and teleradiology systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
• Possess advanced certification in CT modality, with preferred certification in CA.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement care across diverse age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.
