Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide skilled maternity care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves managing both low and high-risk obstetric patients, neonatal care, and supporting the delivery process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to obstetric patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using external fetal monitoring techniques.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns promptly.
• Circulate for C-sections, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Float to Perinatal units as needed, covering various obstetric services.
• Provide on-call coverage and respond to emergency situations as required.

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license required at submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Proficient in external fetal monitoring and recognition of fetal distress.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN credentials.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of OB unit systems such as SBAR, Omnicell, and Allscripts.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts) and most holidays.
