Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide inpatient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to abnormal findings.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license, or approved perm license in hand upon submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• ACTIVE BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of start.
• Strong knowledge of ECG rhythm recognition and patient monitoring.
• Ability to pass site-specific assessments including ECG recognition and safeMedicate competency.
• References from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months are mandatory.
