Job Summary:

Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting. Deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs.
• Recognize and respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, combined perm experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with active credentials required at submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Maintain current compliance with nicotine and drug screening policies.
• Provide at least one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
