Job Summary:


Seeking a qualified Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join a dynamic team for a 13-week contract. The role requires expertise in interventional cardiology procedures within a busy cardiac catheterization lab environment.



Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with complex interventional procedures including LHC/RHC, PFO closure, and device implantations.
  
• Operate advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment such as Philips Xper FD20, FD10, Shockwave, and Penumbra systems.
  
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety during procedures, maintaining 1:1 patient ratios.
  
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
  
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and maintain a professional environment.
  
• Document procedures accurately using EMRs such as PAC’s Merge and Meditech.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  
• Valid RCIS, RCES, or RT license and current BLS & ACLS certifications.
  
• Demonstrated ability to assist with interventional procedures and operate specialized equipment.
  
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
