Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care in the Emergency Department, this role involves delivering round-the-clock patient assessment, treatment, and support for those with acute and complex conditions. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, protocol-driven emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments and prioritize urgent needs.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize emergency equipment following protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Sunrise/Allscripts EMR systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and relevant certifications at all times.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license and valid certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and EKG interpretation skills.
• Show dependability, punctuality, and excellent communication abilities.
• Be adaptable to fluctuating patient volumes and acute care demands.
