Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse for IMC/PCU/Stepdown provides specialized nursing care to adult patients requiring close monitoring and interventions. This role involves managing complex patient conditions in a progressive care setting with a focus on safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry systems with proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation.
• Administer and titrate medications, including vasoactive and cardiac drugs, following physician orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating advanced critical care skills.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid active SC or multistate nursing license.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience, including prior ICU/IICU or progressive care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response procedures.
• Be currently ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certified.
• Have experience with ventilator management and vasoactive medication titration.
• Complete at least one successful travel assignment in a similar ICU or Stepdown setting.
