Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care. Supervises and coordinates with the healthcare team to deliver urgent and specialized care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and collect relevant patient health data to determine immediate needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address urgent health issues.
• Collaborate with physicians, emergency personnel, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about emergency procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee nursing staff activities in the ER.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth transition of care for emergency patients.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in emergency care protocols and EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
