Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care to emergency patients in a fast-paced environment, responding promptly to urgent medical needs. Supervises and coordinates nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze patient conditions upon arrival to determine immediate care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and safely.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to standards of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care setting preferred.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Proficient in the use of hospital electronic medical records, specifically EPIC experience required.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
