Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, including those in NICU Level IV and Pediatric ICU, ensuring safe and effective treatment. Collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient outcomes and adhere to all clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to pediatric patients in NICU and Peds ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust therapies accordingly, ensuring quality care.
• Document all patient encounters accurately within the Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and modify care plans.
• Ensure compliance with certifications such as RRT, BLS, PALS, and NRPC.
• Maintain licensure and certifications, submitting documentation prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RRT certification with NBRC or SC RCP license.
• Possess at least 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience, including NICU Level IV or Peds ICU.
• Be certified in BLS, PALS, and NRPC.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system preferred.
• Willing to work 3x12-hour day shifts, including holiday rotation.
• Possess a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start.
