Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, including those in NICU Level IV and Peds ICU, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver compassionate and effective respiratory therapies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions following physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to therapies, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment, including Epic systems.
• Document patient care and treatment details accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with certifications, licensing, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license or pending application with proof of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of pediatric respiratory experience, with NICU Level IV preferred.
• Maintain current BLS, PALS, and NRPC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs, depending on experience.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and flexibility for shift requirements.
