Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, applying the nursing process within the scope defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and continuously monitor their status during treatment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, procedures, and health management.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care efforts.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess recent (within 2 years) acute care hospital experience, specifically in the emergency department.
• Hold current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications or be willing to obtain them.
• Have or be willing to obtain an Oregon state nursing license.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and patient assessment.
• Maintain excellent communication and teamwork skills.
