Job Summary:

Registered Nurse Cath Lab delivers safe, effective peri-procedural patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role operates on a night schedule and provides skilled nursing coverage on a per diem basis for the assigned engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac cath, EP, device, and diagnostic procedures with accurate assessments and documentation.
• Assist with PCI, EP, and related catheter-based workflows while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, access sites, and patient responses throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and perform prescribed interventions according to established protocols and clinical orders.
• Coordinate care needs with the procedural team, ensuring timely communication and escalation as needed.
• Maintain required compliance documentation and certification readiness, including infection control practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with successful nursing license verification.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications; maintain PALS and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate competency supporting Cardiac Cath Lab/EP patients and catheter-based procedures.
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or valid attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills in high-acuity settings.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams during fast-paced procedures.
