Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN Cath Lab) supports advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures by assisting with diagnostic and interventional workflows in the cath lab environment. The role delivers patient-centered care, maintains safety standards, and ensures readiness during diagnostic, PCI, EP, and device-related cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cath lab procedures and coordinate pre-procedure assessments and documentation.
• Assist with diagnostic, PCI, EP, and device-related procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures, escalating concerns as needed.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per protocol, verifying orders and accurately charting care.
• Support post-procedure recovery by monitoring for complications and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Maintain compliance with required certifications, infection prevention practices, and unit quality/safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active nursing license with verification required.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Maintain current PALS and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or documented attestation/declination.
