Job Summary:

Xray tech must deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in an emergency care setting. The role supports timely imaging workflows while adhering to radiation safety, clinical protocols, and credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging with accuracy and patient-centered positioning.
• Prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain radiation safety practices, including proper shielding and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support urgent imaging needs and timely results.
• Document imaging details and follow established imaging/clinical protocols.
• Maintain imaging equipment readiness by following cleaning and quality-assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold active licensure/verification required for X-ray/Rad Tech.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or other as applicable).
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or approved declination.
• Complete required credentialing steps and verifications (non-negotiable) within required timelines.
• Demonstrate competency in emergency workflow imaging and patient handling.
• Pass required background screening and drug screening processes (as permitted to initiate).
