Job Summary:


Xray/Rad Tech provides safe, accurate diagnostic imaging services while supporting quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role performs imaging procedures, maintains radiation safety, and ensures timely, compliant documentation.



Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging according to established protocols and physician orders.
  
• Verify patient identity, procedure requirements, and imaging orders prior to each exam.
  
• Maintain radiation safety practices, including proper shielding and equipment use.
  
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and timely retakes when necessary.
  
• Document exam details and communicate relevant concerns with the clinical team.
  
• Maintain clinical readiness by following infection control and equipment maintenance procedures.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold active licensure/credentialing as required for Xray/Rad Tech practice.
  
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications and/or other applicable certifications.
  
• Provide proof of MMR and varicella vaccination/declination.
  
• Complete required background screening and drug screening prior to start or confirm initiation as applicable.
  
• Demonstrate competency in radiation safety, patient handling, and diagnostic imaging workflows.
  
• Show strong attention to detail in documentation, compliance, and image quality standards.
