Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac patients in a high-acuity IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor cardiac patients to stabilize vital signs and detect early signs of deterioration.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and clinical observations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Have at least 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units with a focus on cardiac care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and emergency response.
• Possess CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
