Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients requiring assistance with breathing and respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes through assessment and intervention. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective therapy aligned with medical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies based on clinical assessments.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment usage.
• Document clinical interventions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred.
• Proven experience in respiratory care within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of ventilator management and respiratory diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
