Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, delivering critical services to diverse patient populations. This role requires quick decision-making, adaptability, and strong clinical expertise to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, ensuring timely intervention.
• Administer medications, perform IV starts, and assist with sedations and pediatrics procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR while following unit policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, midlevels, and staff to coordinate patient care efficiently.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, scanning medications and adhering to protocols.
• Adapt quickly to the dynamic environment of the emergency room and contribute to team efforts.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent ED experience in an acute care hospital.
• Hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech EMR and possess strong IV and medication administration skills.
• Able to handle high-paced settings efficiently and keep up with unit demands.
• Experience working in large facilities and diverse patient populations preferred.
