Job Summary:
Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to patients on the MedSurg unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver efficient patient services during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs in accordance with physician orders.
• Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort while maintaining safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to ensure coordinated care.
• Follow unit policies, procedures, and dress code guidelines at all times.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate telemetry capability and basic MedSurg skills.
• Proven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support a collaborative environment.
• Comfortable working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
