Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through competent clinical practices and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, documenting changes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative procedures, including wound care and patient mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on care instructions and health management.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas LVN/LPN license at the time of employment.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Show competency in wound care and patient mobility assistance preferred.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
