Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide comprehensive in-hospital care across multiple units, including subacute, long-term care, memory care, pulmonary, and ventilator units. The role involves float responsibilities, ensuring patient needs are met with professionalism and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in various hospital units based on clinical needs.
• Recognize and respond to patients' individual routines, preferences, and clinical conditions.
• Monitor patients on ventilators, manage tracheostomy care, and respond to alarms with strong organizational skills.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and support post-operative and rehab patients.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to healthcare team.
• Adhere strictly to time, attendance, and facility policies, including holiday scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Maryland or Compact LVN/LPN license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting; two years for HICU.
• Have valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
• Be willing to float within hospital units as needed.
• Must pass background checks and provide professional references.
