Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR)/Special Procedures Radiology Tech to perform advanced imaging procedures in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive vascular procedure experience and be adaptable to unit needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex interventional radiology procedures including FEVAR, TEVAR, TAVRs, angiograms, declots, stenting, embolization, and lysis.
- Operate Zeego and Pheno systems with proficiency, ensuring optimal image acquisition and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with medical staff to support hybrid OR procedures and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation within EPIC and PACS systems accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including managing radiation badges and compliance documentation.
- Work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active ARRT Certification and BLS certification.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in IR or Special Procedures Radiology.
- Demonstrate extensive experience with hybrid OR procedures, including endovascular interventions.
- Be proficient with vascular supplies, diagnostic catheters, wires, sheaths, and related tools.
- Have knowledge of advanced vascular imaging features on Siemens systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain a valid Radiation Badge and South Carolina license (or pending application).
