Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry unit to provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts. This role is ideal for professionals with prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs.
• Recognize and respond promptly to clinical emergencies.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS with active certification at submission.
• Possess ECG rhythm recognition skills and pass safeMedicate assessment.
• Able to complete BG review and comply with drug screening policies.
• Reference from a supervisor in the specialty within the past 12 months.
