Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Cardiac First Assistant Tech to support surgical procedures in a busy hospital setting. The role involves assisting in a variety of surgeries with a focus on cardiac cases, ensuring seamless operative workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiac and general surgical procedures by providing instrument and supply management.
• Prepare the operating room and sterilize equipment to maintain surgical sterility standards.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Support team communication and coordination before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and assist with patient care as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CST (Certified Surgical Tech) or ORT (Operating Room Technician) certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of First Assistant experience in a surgical setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in procedures related to general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, ortho, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.
