Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, including blood transfusions and titratable IV drips, following established guidelines.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry strips via EMR, and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, linen changes, feeding, and ambulation.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to maintain optimal staffing and patient care quality.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active RN license in good standing.
• Must have BLS certification; ACLS is preferred.
• Experience with post-operative orthopedic, urologic, or general surgical patients is required.
• Ability to transfuse blood and manage wound vacs, PCA pumps, and titratable IV drips.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to rotating shifts.
