Job Summary:


Provides critical nursing care to emergency room patients, managing acute conditions and ensuring immediate patient stabilization. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and compassionate emergency services.



Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival in the ER.
  
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status.
  
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
  
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for patient management.
  
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active nursing license in the state of practice.
  
• At least 2 years of recent ER or emergency experience.
  
• Certified in ACLS and BLS; NIH certification preferred.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
  
• Ability to pass an EKG exam with two attempts allowed.
  
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work under pressure.
