Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the clinical condition of pediatric patients requiring intensive care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to develop and update individual care plans.
• Educate families on patient status, treatment options, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license, with pending licenses accepted and in-hand by the start date.
• Possess at least 1 year of pediatric critical care experience, including PICU or equivalent.
• Certified in BLS and PALS; Peds Cardiac experience a plus.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
• Able to submit references and all required certifications with application.
• Must pass background checks and comply with travel and licensure policies.
