Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role involves delivering high-quality patient management and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU setting.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid State RN license (pending licenses accepted; must be in hand by Wednesday before start date).
• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Peds cardiac experience is a plus.
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed.
• Epic experience preferred.
