Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care for medical-surgical patients in a complex care setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and quality patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies following protocols.
• Manage patient devices such as PICC lines, trachs, feeding tubes, and telemeters.
• Perform wound care, including wound vac management and isolation precautions.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to rapid response and code team calls, and document accurately in EPIC.
• Float within skillset to different units as needed, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including tube feeding, heparin protocols, and oxygen management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York Single State LPN license; NY is not part of the compact.
• Have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Demonstrate proficiency in blood product administration, line care, and telemetry.
• Be able to independently manage patient assignments with RN support.
• Possess BLS certification and EPIC charting experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other holiday.
