Job Summary:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing high-quality outpatient care, including phlebotomy and EMR documentation, in accordance with established clinical standards. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and compliance during a 12-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in an outpatient setting, adhering to department protocols.
• Collect blood samples and perform phlebotomy procedures efficiently.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Follow infection control principles and performance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate effective delegation and teamwork skills to support clinical operations.
• Maintain current licensure, registration, and compliance with California Board requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Possess a valid, current licensure and registration as an LPN in New York State.
• Bring knowledge of infection control, quality improvement, and delegation principles.
• Demonstrate proficient EMR system experience, preferably with EPIC.
• Maintain AHA accepted certifications.
