Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses, utilizing ECG recognition skills.
• Document clinical information accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• At least 18 months of recent full-time experience in Stepdown or IMC/PCU units, preferably within a single location.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; active and in hand.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts on a rotating day/night schedule.
• Successful completion of required background checks and drug screenings.
