Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to Medical Surgical patients within a hospital setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and promoting patient safety. Oversees nursing staff activities and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
• Develop individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions and coordinate care activities.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the practice state.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care or Medical Surgical setting preferred.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
