Job Details

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment including CT scans, assisting in achieving departmental objectives and ensuring optimal patient care. Performs at least one additional imaging modality regularly, supporting the overall workflows within the radiology department.

Responsibilities:

• Operate computer tomography (CT) equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately.
• Assist in maintaining patient safety by adhering to safety protocols and preparing contrast agents as needed.
• Transport and position patients safely for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and compliance.
• Test and check the integrity of emergency equipment such as defibrillators and crash carts regularly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental operational goals and enhance patient care.
• Perform additional imaging duties supporting other modalities as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in radiologic technology or higher.
• Certified in radiologic technology (RT) and registered with ARRT in Radiography (ARRT-R).
• Certified in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or equivalent advanced modality certification.
• Possess current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Maintain state licensure in radiologic technology and facility-specific certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate at least three years of relevant clinical imaging experience.
