Job Details

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support accurate patient assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal image quality.
• Operate CT and related imaging equipment, following safety and procedural protocols.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, images, and patient records.
• Ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment through routine calibration and maintenance.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations to protect patient data.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess a valid radiologic technologist license in the state of practice, preferably in CA.
• Hold an advanced certification in CT modality.
• Maintain BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have fluoroscopy license if required in the state of employment.
