Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room setting to patients with urgent and emergent health needs. Oversees and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to deliver timely, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Implement patient care plans with precision, adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff and support personnel in the ER.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records for compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Proven experience in an acute care or emergency care environment is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
