Job Details

Job Summary:
Administers physical therapy treatments to patients with disabilities, injuries, or diseases to alleviate pain, restore motor functions, and promote optimal recovery. Works under limited supervision in a clinical outpatient setting, ensuring effective patient care and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Administer various physical therapy modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and home care techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California Physical Therapy license or be eligible for registration.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in physical therapy or a related field.
• Have one to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess a valid California driver’s license if travel is required.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
