Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Assesses, plans, and executes imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and data integrity. Collaborates with medical staff to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire high-quality cross-sectional images.
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and quality assurance checks.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images and data.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient records, and billing information.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations to protect patient information.

Qualifications:

• Obtain an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Hold current ARRT registration in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
• Have valid state-specific fluoroscopy license (preferred in some states).
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Demonstrate experience with PACS, teleradiology, and image processing.
• Prefer additional certifications or licenses in venipuncture and advanced modalities.
